Summary:
The Rework Processor ensures all generated rework is collected and processed in required timeframes and is accurately labeled per the allergen table.
Essential Functions:
Collects products to be reworked throughout the plant within the designated time limit.
Records pounds collected on ‘Rework Collection Log’ noting the time of pick up, pounds collected and the reason rework was generated.
Transfers rework to processing area by using a cart while keeping different coded rework product in separate containers to prevent cross contamination.
Bags up rework, weighs it and completes a tag to attach to each bag. Tags must include time of collection, work order number, rework code and rack number.
Ensures reworked products are racked and pushed into the freezer to cool down within required time limit.
Dismantles and cleans equipment according to standard sanitation procedures and then reassembles it.
Communicates with Supervisors and FSQA and other Lead personnel any problems or concerns regarding the processing of rework.
This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $22.52 to $26.43 per hour.

Required Qualifications: (Education, Years of Experience, Certifications)
A minimum of 6 months experience in food processing or other work environment where allergen controls were used.
Preferred Education & Experiences:
One year of experience in food processing

Work environment:
While performing the duties of the job employees will be exposed to warm humid environments as well as short term exposure to freezing temperatures.
