As the Garant Business Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of Garant equipment installations, converting line commissioning activities, and production startups from preinstallation through warranty completion.

Coordinating preinstallation meetings, site assessments, and project planning activities to ensure customer readiness, including verification of facility requirements, utilities, access, environmental conditions, and specific paperconverting installation logistics.

Developing and managing installation schedules, technician assignments, and project timelines while coordinating internal service resources, contractors, rigging crews, and customer stakeholders.

Overseeing machine shipment logistics, technician travel arrangements, customer training programs, acceptance testing, and commissioning activities to ensure successful project execution.

Managing installation and rigging budgets, monitoring project costs, and tracking progress against established timelines, taking corrective action when necessary to maintain project objectives.

Serving as the primary liaison between customers, field service personnel, technical specialists, and global headquarters teams (including Garant Germany) to facilitate communication, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely problem resolution.

Coordinating warranty support activities, spare parts logistics, claims management, and customer issue resolution to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Monitoring service engineer utilization, qualifications, work reporting, and expense management while ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates within company systems and planning software.

Driving continuous improvement in installation, service coordination, and customer support processes through proactive planning, reporting, and crossfunctional collaboration.
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused professional with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical experience) and at least 3 years of experience in service operations, equipment installation, or project coordination within a capital equipment environment.

Experience managing industrial machinery installations and commissioning projects, coordinating service resources and logistics, and supporting customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Strong project management, communication, and problemsolving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, monitor project budgets, and collaborate effectively across international departments.

Experience with paper converting bagmaking, printing, or similar industrial packaging machinery is highly preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service planning systems is required.

German language skills are a strong plus, given regular communication with our German headquarters and manufacturing teams.
Success in this role means successfully managing the end-to-end coordination of Garant machine installations, commissioning, training, and warranty support while serving as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders. You will ensure projects are executed on time and within budget, resources are effectively allocated, technical issues are resolved promptly, and customers receive a seamless experience throughout the equipment lifecycle.
