We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements while maintaining a smooth flow of service in our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Utilize POS systems to manage orders and assist in processing payments when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing information about menu items and specials.
Basic Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Familiarity with OpenTable, is a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
