Manual Machinist Details:
-
Temp-to-Hire position
-
$20.00 to $25.00 /hour
-
Full Time work available
-
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)
-
Use a variety of precision and cutting tools & equipment, such as a drill press, chop saw, lathe, milling machine, and push & pull broaches
-
Cut, shape and fabricate tools and machine parts
-
Read and follow blueprints
-
Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions and specifications
-
Understand and comply with industry regulations
-
Regularly clean, maintain and repair machinery and equipment as needed
Manual Machinist Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED certificate; trade school preferred
-
At lease one year of related experience
-
The ability to perform basic math and follow instructions
-
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand in place while working
-
Mechanical aptitude to use a variety of industry tools and machinery
-
Strong analytical skills, precision and attention to detail
