Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and experienced Hotshot Driver for 0TR routes operating a truck with a 40ft trailer. This position is for qualified drivers who are comfortable driving long distances and staying on the road for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a hotshot truck with a 40ft trailer on OTR routes.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Pick up and deliver freight on schedule.
- Properly secure loads using chains, straps, binders, tarps, etc.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch.
- Follow all DOT and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in accordance with federal guidelines
- Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
Requirements (No Exceptions)
- Minimum of 2 years of OTR experience.
- CDL License
- Clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must pass a background check.
- Thorough knowledge of load securement and DOT regulations.
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused.
