Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations during your shift, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Manage sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling, pricing adjustments, and inventory control
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming guest experience
- Oversee inventory management tasks such as re-stocking, stock replenishment, and inventory audits to maintain optimal product availability
- Train and develop team members on store policies, sales techniques, POS systems, and customer service standards
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, cash handling procedures, and store policies while maintaining a clean and organized environment
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of retail sales processes including cashiering, inventory management, and POS systems
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customers and team members
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, budgeting, and inventory control
- Ability to lead with energy and confidence while fostering teamwork; previous assistant manager or managerial experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with grocery or retail store environments is beneficial; experience with phone etiquette and organizational skills will support your success
