Position Summary
The Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist/Office coordinator serves as a key member of the practice, blending clinical support, front-office operations, patient acquisition, and small-business support. This individual is highly professional, organized, technologically savvy, and patient-centered, with the ability to represent the practice both clinically and commercially. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support growth initiatives while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care Support
- Perform medical assistant duties in accordance with scope of practice, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals, blood draws, assisting provider, and preparing exam rooms
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Support clinical workflows to ensure efficiency and high-quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies
Office & Practice Operations
- Serve as the primary office coordinator and patient-facing representative of the practice
- Manage scheduling, appointment confirmations, and patient communications
- Coordinate daily office operations to ensure a smooth, professional experience
- Maintain organized records, forms, and internal processes
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and vendor coordination
Patient Acquisition, Sales & Marketing Support
- Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador of the practice’s services, membership model, and value proposition
- Support patient acquisition efforts including inquiries, tours, events, and follow-up communication
- Assist with marketing initiatives such as email outreach, social media coordination, community events, and referral partnerships
- Track patient leads, enrollment metrics, and engagement activities as assigned
Small Business & Administrative Support
- Support the practice as a small business by assisting with operational projects, reporting, and process improvement
- Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives, workflow optimization, and patient experience enhancements
- Represent the practice professionally in all internal and external communications
Required Qualifications
- Certified or experienced Medical Assistant (required)
- Comfortable with blood draws
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Strong customer service and patient communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and reliability
- Comfort discussing services, pricing, and value with patients in a respectful, consultative mannerTechnology & Systems Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Athena, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar)
- Scheduling and practice management software experience
- Comfortable learning new technology platforms and workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in concierge medicine, private practice, or membership-based healthcare models
- Background or interest in sales, marketing, or patient acquisition
- Ability to start IVs
- Experience supporting a small or growing business

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 (annually)
