As an Assembler, you will work as part of a production team to assemble parts, meet production goals, and maintain high quality standards. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with good manual dexterity and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements for the Assembler:
- Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for the entire shift at a stationary assembly line
- Ability to work with conveyor equipment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to work as part of a team and rotate between workstations
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen
Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assemble couplings according to quality and production standards
- Work at a stationary assembly line using conveyor belts or rollers
- Load and unload parts at machines or designated workstations
- Insert rubber gaskets into couplings and pack completed products for shipment
- Use shear cutters to remove eyelets during the assembly process
- Inspect products and verify quality
- Record production numbers each day
- Cross-train on multiple machines and rotate positions as needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and supervisor instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned
