Job Overview
Glorious Home Care Assistance is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to join our growing team in San Jose, CA. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support to seniors and individuals who wish to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact in the lives of clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with care plans
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and fall prevention
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
- Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
- Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental condition
- Maintain accurate daily care notes and documentation
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, home care, assisted living, or senior care experience preferred
- Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred or willingness to obtain
- CNA experience is a plus
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Experience working with seniors, dementia care, or individuals with disabilities is highly valued
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans
