5x8s, Monday-Thursday and Saturday - 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities

Room patients and obtain thorough medical histories from pet owners

Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments and assist veterinarians during examinations

Provide routine patient care, administer vaccines, and safely restrain patients for exams and treatments

Collect laboratory samples, perform blood draws, run in-house laboratory diagnostics, and prepare samples for outside laboratories

Educate clients on medications, preventive care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation of patient care

Clean, stock, and organize exam rooms and treatment areas to support daily hospital operations

Support a variable caseload depending on seasonal demand while maintaining efficient workflow

Assist with scheduling, client check-in/check-out, answering phones, and other duties as assigned
About You
-
Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant is preferred, with moderate hands-on experience strongly valued.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect warmly with clients and confidently de-escalate challenging situations.

Dependable, proactive, and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

A collaborative team player who thrives in a busy, hands-on hospital setting.
