Position Overview
As a Physician Assistant, you will work alongside board-certified physicians providing high-quality outpatient care to a diverse patient population. You will gain valuable experience managing both acute and chronic medical conditions while receiving ongoing guidance and clinical support.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
- Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Document patient encounters accurately within the EMR
- Educate patients on treatment plans, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in ongoing clinical learning and professional development
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active California Physician Assistant license or pending licensure
- NCCPA certified or eligible
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Desire to learn and grow clinically
- New graduates strongly encouraged to apply
