Healthy Homes is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance/Area Manager to oversee operations within our Residential Group Home settings. This role will oversee the operation of 7-12 group homes to assure compliance to DES/DDD monitoring rules in Maricopa County. This position requires someone with extensive knowledge/experience of the Department of Economic Security/Division of Developmental Disabilities, Department of Child Safety rules and regulations. Areas of responsibility mainly includes quality assurance, promoting person - centered planning and providing supervision, training and support for house managers. Extensive ARIZONA DDD knowledge and experience required.
Essential Functions
- Ensure all group homes documentations are kept in compliance to DDD/DCS rules and regulations.
- Reviews care environment and appropriateness of services, ensuring the safety of persons supported, individualized choice opportunities and the appropriate environment is maintained by implementing changes as needed.
- Reviews all incident reports, takes corrective actions and forwards appropriate reports as necessary.
- Participates in ISP/PCSP meetings and assist managers in developing behavioral plans for persons supported.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of applicable programs, Company, State or Federal rules/regulations, and monitoring/licensing requirements in the State of Arizona.
- Skill in behavior modification techniques, functional behavioral analysis, behavioral treatment plans, person-centered planning techniques.
- Strong knowledge of principles and practices of supervision (including individual coaching, discipline, and conflict resolution), supervising service staff as well as conducting meetings and training sessions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to demonstrate proactive, solution-focused planning and problem solving.
- CPR/First Aid, Article 9 and Prevention & Support or P.R.O.U.D. certifications a plus.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- Valid Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Extensive Arizona DDD knowledge and experience
- Experience developing and writing BTP's, reviewing IR's and conducting Fact Finding Investigations.
- Valid Arizona Drivers License and qualify to drive a company vehicle.
- Willing to travel to sites located in the East and West Valley.
- Completion of an Associate of Arts Degree or equivalent three (3) years minimum of experience working in the human service field supporting populations diagnosed with Developmental/Intellectual disabilities and/or a Behavioral Health diagnosis is required.
