Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instrumentation-Calibration & Electrical Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing and industrial maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal operational performance. Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and maintenance of electrical instrumentation, sensors, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, controls, and automation equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams (P&IDs), and electrical blueprints.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to industrial controls, pneumatic systems, hydraulic components, and low/high voltage electrical circuits.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repair on complex machinery including vision inspection systems, distributed control systems (DCS), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Read electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams to facilitate installation, maintenance, or modification of electrical systems.
- Support field service activities by installing, testing, and commissioning new instrumentation or control equipment in manufacturing settings.
- Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously while performing all maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial electrician practices with experience in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints (including P&IDs), and engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation systems such as sensors, PLC programming (including Calypso), vision inspection systems, and distributed control systems.
- Hands-on experience with calibration techniques for various instruments ensuring precision measurement accuracy.
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems, hydraulic components, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and mechanical knowledge relevant to industrial maintenance.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters (including low voltage testing), and other precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures related to high voltage and low voltage systems in manufacturing environments.
- Experience with equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance programs, and field service operations in industrial settings.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients.

Pay: $30.50 - $31.50 per hour
