Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying inventory accuracy, and ensuring seamless coordination between warehouse operations and shipping logistics. Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders using inventory management software and RF scanners
- Load and unload trucks safely using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts (certification preferred)
- Accurately perform data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms, ensuring real-time inventory updates
- Prepare items for storage or shipment by packing, labeling, and organizing stock in designated warehouse areas
- Collaborate with warehouse distribution teams to coordinate order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments, including shipping & receiving logs and compliance documentation for international trade regulations
- Support inventory management activities by conducting stock counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory management software to ensure optimal stock levels
- Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols during load & unload operations and operating warehouse equipment responsibly
Experience
- Prior experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP systems
- Hands-on experience with shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and the use of RF scanners and other warehouse technology
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation
- Demonstrated customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and external partners
- Valid certification for forklift operation or reach truck (preferred but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of trade compliance regulations and international trade procedures is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
