We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and in good working order. You must have your own basic tools and transportation role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify issues that require attention.
- Respond promptly to repair requests from clients or management.
- Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople when necessary to complete projects efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proficiency in various maintenance person skills such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
- Familiarity with safety practices in maintenance and repair work.
