Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep lawns healthy and attractive.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as pruning, tree trimming, planting, mulching, and weed control.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as trimmers, blowers, shovels, rakes, and excavators safely and efficiently.
- Assist with installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
- Support general construction projects related to landscaping or outdoor improvements as needed.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools.
- Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and tree care practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and larger machinery such as excavators safely.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design fundamentals is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards on all job sites.
- Prior experience with snow plowing or hardscape installation is desirable but not required.
