Star Lumber & Supply is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to partner with leaders across several of our most active business divisions. This is a strategic HR role for someone who enjoys coaching leaders, solving employee relations challenges, developing talent, and helping create a high-performing culture.
What You'll Do:

Partner with business leaders to achieve operational and people goals

Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership development

Lead recruiting and onboarding efforts

Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement

Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies

Analyze workforce metrics to drive continuous improvement

Collaborate with Operations and Safety to support a safe, productive workplace
Requirements:
What We're Looking For:

7+ years of progressive HR experience

Experience supporting manufacturing, construction, distribution, or industrial operations preferred

Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

Experience designing and delivering leadership development training

Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills

Ability to travel up to 10%
