Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Embroidery Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered designs on various textiles and garments. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, adhere to safety and quality standards, and demonstrate proficiency in machine operation and materials handling. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate embroidery machines, ensuring proper threading, calibration, and maintenance for optimal performance.
- Read and interpret design files and specifications accurately to execute embroidery patterns.
- Monitor machine operation throughout production runs, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Inspect finished embroidered products for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards in production.
- Handle materials carefully, including fabric and garment preparation, to prevent damage during embroidery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety standards in production at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines to ensure longevity and consistent output.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Document production details, including measurements and quality checks, for traceability and process improvement.
Skills
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and embroidery equipment.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional measurements relevant to textiles.
- Understanding of fabric materials, garment construction, upholstery, and sewing techniques such as serging.
- Experience with materials handling, manual fabric cutting, and garment sewing processes.
- Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to interpret design files and operate embroidery software effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards in production.
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for material management and inventory control.
- Competence in seam construction, sewing machine operation, and fabric materials handling.
