Join our dynamic team as a Support Staff - Host & Food Runner, where your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll assist in delivering exceptional service by supporting the front-of-house operations, managing food and beverage delivery, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. Hourly base pay of $12.14 – $15.16 per hour, plus tips.*
Estimated tipped compensation: $20–$75 per shift.
Estimated total compensation: $68.56–$123.56 per shift (hourly base pay + tips).
Some weekend availability required
*All employees will receive at least the applicable Colorado minimum wage. If hourly wages and tips do not meet minimum wage requirements, JING will supplement wages to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
- Take accurate food orders using Toast Pos
- Ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and servers
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation and service etiquette
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, dishwashing, and food handling to uphold food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately during order taking or when assisting with cashier duties; process payments efficiently
- Maintain excellent guest relations through attentive service, effective communication skills, and phone etiquette when managing reservations or inquiries
Qualifications
- Previous experience in host/hostess roles or food service environments preferred; experience with banquet or catering service is a plus
- Knowledge of beverage preparation, food handling, and basic cooking techniques; culinary experience or barista skills are advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast; experience with OpenTable reservations management is beneficial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods; maintain energy throughout busy shifts
- Commitment to food safety practices and cleanliness standards; experience with dishwashing, cleaning, and basic meal preparation preferred
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude; previous hospitality or hotel experience is desirable
- Valid food handling certification or willingness to obtain necessary certifications; knowledge of dietary accommodations is helpful
