The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supports the delivery of speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The SLPA implements treatment plans, collects data, and assists in providing therapeutic interventions to support communication development. The SLPA does not evaluate, diagnose, or independently develop treatment plans but may provide input to the supervising SLP.

Required Education and Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Current SLPA license or certification as required by state regulations; must meet all applicable state and ASHA guidelines.

Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a clinical environment. Work may be stressful at times due to a busy clinic environment with patients. Prolonged loud noises may occur. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
