Job Description:
We are Hiring Immediately for a Quality Control position!
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet quality standards by performing visual and dimensional inspections using engineering drawings, specifications, and quality procedures. Reporting directly to the Quality Supervisor, this role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, identifying non-conforming materials, and supporting a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. The Quality Inspector may also inspect incoming raw materials and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform visual, dimensional, first article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured products.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, work instructions, and quality documentation.

Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products.

Verify manufacturing processes and ensure products meet all quality standards and customer specifications.

Support compliance with ISO 13485 standards and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Maintain accurate inspection records and product traceability.

Investigate questionable inspection results and communicate findings to the appropriate teams.

Provide quality support and guidance to manufacturing personnel.

Perform routine 5S housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Assist with continuous improvement efforts and perform additional duties as assigned.

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or injection molding preferred.

Experience working in an ISO 13485 regulated environment is a plus.

Familiarity with inspection tools, measuring equipment, and quality inspection techniques.

Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) is preferred.

Must be able to distinguish color differences (no color blindness).

Must successfully complete a Defect Awareness Test.

Ability to stand or walk for the entire shift in a manufacturing environment.

Frequently bend, stoop, grip, grasp, and perform repetitive movements.

Lift and carry up to 55 pounds on a routine basis.

Work in varying plant temperatures depending on seasonal weather conditions.

Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
