CNC Operator - 2nd Shift
Overview: National Granite Luxuries, dba/National Design Mart CNC Operator/Tooling Tech are responsible for ensuring that the customer expectations are being met by ensuring the product selected is cut and fabricated according to the work order. This is a second shift position, hours worked 2pm - 12:30am with a paid shift differential.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the granite industry.

Demonstrated ability to problem solve.

Knowledge of different stone.

Ability to participate effectively as a team member.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC fabrication machinery to router or polish counter top edges.

Operate overhead crane and occasionally use forklift to empty hopper.

Perform machine and facility maintenance as needed.

Use Zoller machine to properly measure tools.

Perform CNC machine operating and installation techniques.

Manage tooling inventory.

Identify personal growth needs and improvement opportunities.

Seek to obtain product information.

Learn and assist others in learning about products.

Communicate effectively with others.
Physical Aspects
- Standing and/or walking for up to 4 hours consistently.

Ability to operate computer programs.

Ability to operate a forklift.

Occasional lifting, up to 80 lbs.
Equipment Used
- CNC machines, Alpha cam, Zoller machine.

Perform numerical computations using an adding machine and/or calculator.

Know the functions of and use a variety of building industry related tools.
