Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department
Location: Utica, NY 13502
Duration: 13 Weeks
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Local Candidates: Accepted (local rate applies for candidates living within 75 miles)
Travel Requirement: Candidates must meet the 75-mile radius rule for travel pay.
Shift: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM, 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
Some Pediatric experience required
Travel experience required
Active New York RN License
Experience with EPIC EMR required
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
TNCC must be in hand at the time of submission
NURSYS report verifying active NY RN license and all active RN licenses
Skills checklist matching the Emergency Department specialty
Valid driver's license with an address matching candidate demographics
RTO must be included at the time of submission
Unit Details
Unit: Emergency Department
Patient Population: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics
Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure
Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
Charge Capability: Highly preferred
Floating: Required
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
Pay: $65.00 - $71.00 per hour
