Position Summary
The Anesthesia Recruiter is responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing CRNA and anesthesiologist candidates across Guide Anesthesia's multi-state platform. This is a full-cycle sourcing role with end-to-end ownership of candidate relationships, from initial outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff. The Recruiter works in partnership with a senior sourcing specialist and under the direction of the Recruiting Operations Manager.
Guide Anesthesia is a CRNA-owned, multi-state anesthesia services platform operating in Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Nevada. We are growing rapidly and need recruiters who are persistent, organized, and energized by candidate engagement in a specialized healthcare market.
Core Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing and Outreach
- Identify and engage prospective CRNAs and anesthesiologists through outbound sourcing across job boards, LinkedIn, Gaswork, and CRNA-specific platforms
- Build and maintain a personal pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive outreach, referrals, and networking
- Execute targeted email and messaging campaigns to passive candidate pools
- Research new sourcing channels and stay current on where anesthesia providers are active online
- Attend virtual and in-person recruiting events, conferences, and job fairs as needed
Candidate Relationship Management
- Own the full candidate relationship from first contact through offer acceptance and credentialing handoff
- Conduct screening calls to assess candidate interest, availability, clinical experience, and market fit
- Present Guide Anesthesia's practice model, compensation structure, and market opportunities with clarity and confidence
- Manage ongoing follow-up sequences to keep candidates engaged throughout the recruiting cycle
- Serve as a responsive, professional point of contact who reflects the company's reputation in every interaction
Pipeline Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate, real-time candidate records in Asana, including pipeline stage, contact history, and next steps
- Create an Asana task for every new candidate within the relevant market pipeline
- Report weekly on personal pipeline activity: new leads sourced, screens completed, interviews scheduled, offers extended
- Collaborate with the Recruiting Operations Manager on forecasting models and fill probability assessments
- Participate in daily or weekly recruiting stand-ups to communicate pipeline status and surface blockers
Coordination and Enablement
- Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and market leadership
- Support credentialing documentation workflows in partnership with operations
- Draft and deploy job advertisements under direction of the Recruiting Operations Manager
- Respond to inbound candidate inquiries (careers inbox, social media, text) within 24 business hours
- Share market intelligence and candidate feedback to inform recruiting strategy and compensation positioning
Qualifications
Required
- 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or high-volume candidate engagement
- Demonstrated ability to source, engage, and close candidates independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, persuasive tone
- Experience with applicant tracking systems or project management tools (Asana preferred)
- Comfort with outbound sourcing tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, email campaigns
- Self-directed work habits appropriate for a fully remote, high-accountability environment
- Persistence and energy in follow-up; comfortable with high-volume outreach
Preferred
- Healthcare recruiting experience, particularly in anesthesia, nursing, or allied health staffing
- Familiarity with CRNA practice models, independent practice, or ambulatory surgery center operations
- Experience with Gaswork, AANA career boards, or anesthesia-specific sourcing channels
- Background in agency recruiting or commission-based environments
Performance Metrics
Performance will be evaluated on the following indicators:
- Placements closed (Primary, Affiliate, and Supplemental categories)
- Pipeline activity volume: outbound contacts, screens, interviews scheduled per week
- Candidate response time (target: under 24 business hours for all inbound inquiries)
- Pipeline data accuracy and completeness in Asana
- Candidate and hiring manager satisfaction with recruiting experience
- 90-day retention rate of placed candidates
Compensation Structure
Base Salary
$60,000 annually
Primary Placement
$400 per full-time provider placed
Affiliate Placement
$200 per part-time provider placed
Supplemental Placement
$100 per PRN provider placed
Target Total Comp
~$66,000 - $68,000 (assumes 15-20 primary placements annually)

Placement Credit and Retention Terms
- Placement bonuses are paid within 30 days of the placed candidate's first clinical date
- A placement counts toward bonus eligibility only if the candidate remains active for a minimum of 90 days from first clinical date
- If a placed candidate separates prior to 90 days, the placement bonus for that candidate is forfeited; this is not a clawback of previously paid bonuses but an adjustment to future eligibility tracking
Work Environment
- Fully remote position with standard business hours; flexibility required for candidate availability across time zones
- Regular video meetings with recruiting team, market leadership, and operations
- High-communication, high-activity role requiring consistent availability during business hours
- Active markets include Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Nevada with potential for additional state expansion
