Job Description – CDL A Driver w/ Bobcat Experience
Looking for an experienced Class A CDL Driver who is safe and consistent to work for Royal Oak Recycling, one of the largest independent recycling companies in the Midwest. Facility is located in Wood River, IL.
THIS IS A REMOTE ROUTE POSITION: Peoria, IL area
Being familiar with area nuances, such as back roads and traffic patterns is a big plus. You must have consistent and reliable attendance and practice Safety First, Last and Always!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position requires a step deck - loading, strapping and securing loads w/ a Bobcat.
- Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Home daily
- Day Cab and step deck/Bobcat Combo
- Pre and post trip inspections required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of prior experience as a CDL A driver
- Able to operate a Bobcat, forklift or Moffett
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- One year of prior experience driving commercial trucks as a CDL A flatbed driver or equivalent military experience.
- 6 months of experience operating a bobcat, forklift or Moffett
- You MUST be able to travel interstate routes
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Acceptable driving record.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Valid DOT Medical Card/ Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen.
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility requirements include – sitting, standing, bending, repetitive motion of arms and legs.
