Overview
Join our dedicated educational team as a Teacher Assistant and play a vital role in fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students with diverse needs. In this paid position, you will collaborate closely with lead teachers, special education professionals, and families to support the academic, social, and behavioral development of children across early childhood and elementary levels. Responsibilities
- Support the whole child — assist in planning and leading activities that build social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Keep the classroom running — maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment with appropriate materials and equipment
- Be present and responsive — support children during transitions, recognize learning moments in everyday routines, and ensure supervision at all times
- Partner with families — build positive relationships with parents, participate in conferences, and promote children's health and learning at home
- Contribute to each child's growth — assist with anecdotal records, assessments, and individual development plans
- Keep every child safe — follow all health, safety, medication, and injury protocols; serve as a mandated reporter
- Uphold excellence — maintain compliance with State and NAEYC standards in every interaction.
Requirements
- One of the following education and experience combinations:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education + 1 year of full-day group care experience
You also bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A warm, patient approach to working with young children and their families
- Physical ability to engage actively with preschool-aged children, including lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.94 - $21.85 per hour
