Job Summary:
The Onvo Mascot will be responsible for representing our brand at events, games, and community appearances. The mascot will be engaging audiences and promoting a positive/fun atmosphere.
Essential Functions:
- Crowd Engagement & Entertainment: Generating excitement at events, leading cheers, dancing, and encouraging audience participation.
- Brand Representation: Serving as the face of the brand creating a relatable, positive image.
- Non-Verbal Communication: Relying on expressive body language and acting to interact with fans without speaking.
- Photo & Event Appearances: Participating in high-visibility appearances, parades, and photoshoots.
- Character Maintenance: Adhering to the specific personality of the character and maintaining the costume's condition.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High energy level and strong physical stamina
- Comfortable performing in costume for extended periods
- Strong non‑verbal communication and improvisation skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
Credentials and Experience:
- Prior mascot, performance, dance, theater, or cheer experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, dance, and perform physical movements for long durations
- Comfortable working in warm conditions while in costume
