This role will be going between buildings in South Seattle and Tacoma, cleaning up the buildings, there could also be additional time spend doing unit turns when needed
Duties
- Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and exterior building entrances across multiple residential sites.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners to maintain floors and surfaces at optimal cleanliness levels.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures during cleaning tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move furniture, cleaning supplies, or equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain safety protocols by adhering to all safety procedures during cleaning operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Respond promptly to custodial requests or issues reported by residents or property management to ensure a high standard of service.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as touch-up painting or repairs when needed to support overall building upkeep.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently in a roving capacity across multiple locations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
