What You’ll Do:
As a Deli Clerk, you will be the friendly face of our deli counter, helping our customers discover delicious food while ensuring our department shines.

Connect with Customers: Provide exceptional service by warmly greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting with purchases at the counter, on the floor, or over the phone.

Craft Delicious Food: Prepare fresh, crowd-pleasing cold salads, dips, and grab-and-go favorites like wraps, sandwiches, pizzas, and custom party trays.

Showcase Quality: Package, wrap, price, and beautifully merchandise deli products to make our display cases look irresistible.

Keep It Fresh: Maintain product knowledge, check dates for peak freshness, and properly rotate stock.

Safety First: Safely operate kitchen equipment (slicers, ovens, fryers, knives) and maintain a clean, sanitized workspace by washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping.

Requirements:
Required Skills & Abilities:

Ability to communicate clearly

Comfortable working with the public and greeting, speaking with, and assisting customers

Attention to detail, ensuring duties are completed correctly and on time
Education & Experience:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Some previous deli or food service experience, highly preferred
-
High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, twisting, lifting, bending, and reaching
-
Occasional instances of pushing, pulling, and squatting
-
Must be able to frequently lift 10-30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
