Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to menu specifications and recipes
- Assist in meal preparation for various service periods, including lunch and dinner shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
- Support the kitchen team in plating dishes efficiently and accurately
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient ordering as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with dietary guidelines and customer preferences
- Participate in food prep for catering events or special functions when required
- Maintain a professional attitude while serving guests or during food service operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, especially in fine dining or catering, is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, cooking, and food industry best practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Culinary training or certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed
