Position Overview
We’re seeking experienced and motivated Mechanics to join our operation. This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing our fleet of trucks and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Conduct inspections and identify mechanical or electrical issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation
- Collaborate with drivers and supervisors to ensure timely repairs
- Adhere to company and DOT safety standards at all times
- Work in various weather conditions as required
- Communicate effectively with manager and co-workers.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2+ years of diesel or heavy truck mechanic experience preferred
- Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- CDL preferred but not required
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Welding experience a plus
- Basic computer skills required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to frequently stand, stoop, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
