Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, ensuring timely service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling procedures, including basic math for checks and tips.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Support host/host duties as needed to manage guest flow effectively.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. .
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and payment processing.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food service industry.
Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
