We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Orthodontic Assistant with over three years of experience to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside support during orthodontic procedures, assist with patient care, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of orthodontic assisting experience (required)
- Experience with braces, clear aligners, and orthodontic records
- Knowledge of taking digital impressions/scans, photos, and radiographs
- Comfortable changing archwires, ligating, placing and removing brackets, and assisting with orthodontic procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to multitask
- Positive attitude and team player
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary orthodontic instruments, materials, and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized and ready for use.
- Bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance fittings with precision and professionalism.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, including panoramic and cephalometric images, adhering to all safety protocols and infection prevention procedures.
- Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Open Dental while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices to promote optimal treatment outcomes.
- Perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, dental instrument processing, and maintaining a sterile environment following aseptic techniques.
