Responsibilities:
Appointment Scheduling: This position's Primary focus is coordinating patient appointments with our speech pathologists, ensuring efficient use of their time and maximizing patient contact. Manage and maintain full appointment calendars, making adjustments as needed.
Patient Communication: Communicate with patients to schedule and confirm appointments, promptly addressing any inquiries changes and overcoming objections. Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with their scheduling needs. Ensuring all forms of communication are responded to quickly and efficiently every time
Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation. Handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate Team members. Assist in training & documentation.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient appointments, cancellations, insurance information, demographic information, and rescheduling records. Assist in keeping patient files and documents organized and up-to-date.
Office Operations: Ensure office supplies are stocked and in order as necessary.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the office.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher preferred).
Experience:
- Healthcare administrative experience preferred
Skills: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Strong phone skills and ability to connect with patients on both inbound and outbound calls.
- Friendly, inviting, and able to solve problems in real-time for patients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in administrative or scheduling roles is a plus.
- Strong communication, listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to build trust and ensure patient success.
- Ability to ask for referrals and network for new referral sources
- Proficiency with technology including, but not limited to, Google G Suite products, telehealth video technologies, and patient healthcare databases.
- Ability to enter data promptly and accurately in EHR.
- A desire to grow in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Adherence to ethical standards and principles, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Pay
- $18 to $22 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Shift and Schedule
- Tuesday to Friday 10:00 - 6:30 pm, Saturday 8:00 - 4:30 pm
