Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for providing excellent customer service, and the ability to accurately verify customer age and comply with all regulations related to product sales. This role involves engaging with customers, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment. Looking to hire someone to start mid July
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure proper stock levels through stocking and merchandising
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and organization
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Perform cashiering duties with accuracy, including handling returns and exchanges
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Experience in merchandising, and stocking is an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professionalism
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
