WY Industries is seeking a dedicated and reliable Injection Molding Technician to join our 24/7 manufacturing facility in New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone with experience in injection molding machine operations, troubleshooting, and supporting production teams.
The primary responsibilities will include:
- Restarting and adjusting injection molding machines after stops, ensuring smooth operation.
- Basic troubleshooting of molding equipment to maintain production flow.
- Providing break and lunch coverage for machine operators, ensuring continuous production.
- Conducting routine inspections to identify and address minor mechanical issues.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Reporting machine issues promptly to lead mechanics and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in injection molding operations (experience with thin-wall molding is a plus).
- Ability to restart and perform minor troubleshooting on injection molding machines.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operations.
- Dependable and able to work independently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
