Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and reliable Handymen and Lawn Care Contractors to join our team for steady, ongoing work. Duties
- Perform general repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance to keep facilities in optimal condition
- Conduct landscaping and lawn care services such as mowing, trimming, planting, and seasonal clean-up to maintain outdoor spaces
- Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and electrical equipment repair techniques to complete maintenance tasks efficiently
- Maintain building interior by painting, drywall repair, and other finishing tasks to enhance property appearance
- Troubleshoot issues with facilities equipment using tools like ohmmeters and follow schematics for accurate repairs
- Supervise or assist with maintenance projects ensuring safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met
- Document work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and reporting purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), including plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, carpentry, welding, and building interior maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical schematics
- Ability to operate hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, welding equipment, and ohmmeters effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
- Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to oversee projects or team members effectively
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures including plumbing system repair and HVAC system troubleshooting
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management is a plus
- Valid understanding of schematics related to electrical systems and building infrastructure
- Ability to perform residential painting and maintenance painting as needed
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting repairs and inspections
