Overview
Happyland Day School is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic aftercare teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, creates a safe and engaging environment, and can support play-based activities at the end of the school day.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in both indoor and outdoor activities
- Foster a warm, positive, and respectful classroom environment
- Assist with snack time, games, and creative projects
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in the classroom and playground
Qualifications
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background screening
Additional Opportunities
Morning substitute hours may be available for those interested in working additional time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
