Position Summary:
The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a sanitary dining environment while delivering exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines
Set up trays and ensure proper portioning and presentation of food
Deliver meals to residents and assist with dining room service as needed
Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
Maintain proper food storage and labeling standards
Support cooks and dietary staff as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous food service experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
