Responsibilities
- Implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies.
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies including curriculum development, learning technology integration, and differentiated instruction to meet varied student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques and classroom management skills to create a safe learning environment.
- Assess student progress regularly using formative and standardized testing methods; adjust instruction accordingly to support individual growth.
- Collaborate with special education teams.
- Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming classroom activities.
Skills
- Proven experience in classroom teaching with a strong background in childhood development and early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
- Proficiency in working with learning technology tools and integrating digital resources into lessons.
- Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and managing standardized testing procedures.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Writing skills necessary for creating detailed lesson plans, assessments, and progress reports.

Pay: $65,927.25 - $115,353.25 per year
