Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to drive business-to-business (B2B) growth in the Washington DC metropolitan area. This is a unique, part-time hybrid role combining targeted inside sales prospecting with face-to-face outside sales execution. It pays BOTH hourly AND UNCAPPED COMMISSION. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key facility relationships, and driving revenue growth specifically for our commercial floor cleaning and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Inside Prospecting: Conduct warm/cold outreach, phone prospecting, and email campaigns to target property managers, facility directors, and commercial building owners.
- Outside Territory Management: Travel within the DMV metro area to perform on-site facility walk-throughs, assess floor conditions, and meet face-to-face with decision-makers.
- Proposal Delivery: Create and present tailored service proposals for commercial floor cleaning & maintenance (carpet, tile, stone) services.
- CRM Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, log facility notes, and monitor the sales pipeline.
- Account Nurturing: Maintain ongoing relationships with secured commercial clients to ensure retention and upsell specialized restoration services.
Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of B2B sales experience (experience in commercial cleaning, facility services, property management, or restoration is a major plus).
- Existing Client Base: Candidates with the ability to bring an established client list will be considered first.
- Location: Must be based in or near the Washington DC metropolitan area with reliable transportation for client site visits.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with a high comfort level pitching to building managers and executives.
- Self-Motivated: Proven ability to manage a part-time schedule (15–25 hours per week) independently while hitting pipeline goals.
