Qualifications:
- Hold an active Delaware (DE) SLP licensure/certification (proof required upon application)
- Certification as SLP-CCC is required
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Experience with Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP systems desired
- SLPAs are not being considered for this position
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students, supporting communication and academic growth
- Administer and score speech-language evaluations to determine areas of need
- Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive IEPs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as an integral team member
- Collect and report on student progress using established monitoring and documentation protocols
- Document therapy sessions by writing clear, accurate therapy notes
Assignments and caseload specifics, as well as student grade levels, will be determined based on final placement. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) ensures consistency for both your schedule and the students you serve.
