Job Overview
As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the automotive service industry, acting as a liaison between customers and the service department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service recommendations and guidance on vehicle maintenance.
Duties
- Communicate with customers to understand their vehicle service needs
- Provide recommendations on automotive services such as oil changes, alignments, air brake inspections, and more
- Liaise with mechanics and service technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Upsell additional services or products when appropriate
- Estimate costs for auto repairs and services
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with technicians
- Previous experience in automotive service or as a mechanic is a plus
- Ability to effectively upsell services while maintaining customer trust
- Proficiency in auto estimating software is beneficial
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
