In this active, trade-entry position, you will support mill and yard operations by performing routine preventative maintenance, greasing and lubricating heavy machinery, assisting with mechanical repairs, and keeping shop equipment running smoothly. No welding experience is required—just basic tool knowledge, mechanical curiosity, and an eager willingness to learn! Perform routine preventative maintenance (PMs) across heavy industrial yard equipment, conveyors, and processing machinery.

Execute daily greasing, lubrication, oil checks, and fluid top-offs according to maintenance schedules.

Utilize standard hand and power tools to assist maintenance technicians with equipment teardowns, parts replacements, and mechanical adjustments.

Assist with general shop fabrication, torch cutting, and basic welding repairs as needed (with training opportunities available!).

Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free shop bays, staging areas, and tool cribs.

Strictly adhere to industrial facility safety standards, PPE requirements, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $25.00 / hour (Scaling cleanly based on Depth of Experience / DOE).-
Schedule: Full-Time Monday – Friday (Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with weekends OFF!).

Shift Hours: Day Shift (Starting between 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM).

Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of common hand and power tools.

Basic understanding of equipment lubrication, greasing points, and preventative maintenance concepts.

Welding experience is NOT required, but an interest in learning industrial welding and fabrication is a huge plus!

Physical capability to handle heavy industrial labor—standing all shift, bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting 50–75 lbs regularly.

Comfortable working in active indoor/outdoor industrial yard environments in all weather conditions.

Exceptional record of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and a safety-conscious attitude.

Competitive $22.00–$25.00/hr starting pay rate.
