The State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is currently recruiting for one (1) part-time 2nd Shift Custodian position at Henry Abbott Technical High School in Danbury, CT.

As a Custodian, you will play an essential role in supporting students, staff, and visitors by ensuring that classrooms, offices, common areas, and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and ready for daily activities. From performing routine cleaning and floor care to reporting repair needs and completing minor maintenance tasks, your work will contribute directly to a positive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who values teamwork, takes initiative, and is committed to providing exceptional service while helping maintain a safe and attractive school campus.
Position Highlights:
- Henry Abbott Technical High School in Danbury, CT
- Part-time | 2nd Shift | 32.5 Hours per week
- Monday – Friday | 2:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- This is a year-round position.
- This position will be assigned to 1st shift during summer break, returning to the regular 2nd shift schedule when school resumes in August.
- Please Note: Permanent part-time employees are eligible for benefits and accrue vacation and sick leave in accordance with the number of hours they work.
