Position Introduction:
Performs support-oriented job duties to a Department Head or Manager. Duties are complex and of an advanced nature, to include but not limited to maintaining files, scheduling appointments, managing inventory, typing, preparing reports and correspondence, distributing information, conducting research and computation, managing office procedures, assisting with budget preparation, and coordinating activities. Serves as a resource to other support personnel.

Typical Functions May Include:
- Frontline greeter for all VPRP visitors on the main floor, answers the main phone line, and opens/distributes the mail. 70%
- Open and close the office, including but not limited to: make coffee, dispose of trash, run the dishwasher, put away clean dishes, maintain a clean kitchen area. 20%
- Perform other administrative support tasks, including updating and sorting files, drafting, and proofreading correspondence, and seeking additional information when needed, and ordering office supplies as needed, and maintaining the supply room. 10%
