Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Manager to oversee enterprise-wide risk management and insurance operations for a multi-company organization. This is a direct hire, onsite opportunity.
This role is ideal for someone with strong corporate insurance experience across multiple entities or subsidiaries, a data-driven approach to risk analysis, and a proven ability to identify cost savings through coverage review, claims analysis, vendor negotiation, and risk reduction strategies.
Salary: 80K+
Responsibilities
- Oversee insurance and risk management operations for a parent company and multiple subsidiaries
- Manage policy renewals, claims administration, broker/carrier coordination, and insurance documentation
- Review and negotiate insurance coverage to ensure proper protection, competitive pricing, and cost-effective program structure
- Analyze claims data, loss trends, coverage costs, and risk exposure to identify savings opportunities and reduce risk
- Support a broad insurance portfolio, including Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Commercial Auto, Product Liability, Ocean Cargo, Professional Liability, Crime, Global Insurance Programs, Pollution Liability, Customs Bonds, and Flood Insurance
- Partner with internal teams, brokers, carriers, and vendors to resolve insurance matters and improve risk management processes
- Prepare reports, recommendations, and data-driven insights to support enterprise risk and insurance decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in risk management and insurance administration within a large, multi-entity, or multi-company organization
- Strong understanding of insurance coverage analysis, risk assessment, claims management, and renewal processes
- Demonstrated experience identifying cost savings through insurance review, claims analysis, loss prevention, or broker/carrier negotiation
- Experience managing a broad corporate insurance portfolio across multiple coverage lines
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with data analysis tools
- Ability to use data, reporting, statistics, and trend analysis to support risk and insurance decisions
- Experience working with risk management systems, software platforms, and reporting tools
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and broker/carrier relationship skills
- Professional certifications such as ARM, CRM, CPCU, or similar designations are a plus
