SUGAR CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH needs YOU! If you love children, have a team-oriented spirit and love sharing God's word with little ones then, THIS is the place for you. No experience necessary! Shifts are available campus-wide in Sugar Land, Missouri City and Rosenberg.
We are looking for help specifically for Sunday mornings every week in Sugar Land and Missouri City, Wednesday mornings twice a month in Sugar Land, Thursday mornings twice a month in Missouri City.

Duties
- Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, rest periods, and outdoor time to ensure safety at all times.
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including preschool activities and toddler care.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences.
- Apply child development instruction techniques to support social-emotional growth, behavioral management, and early learning skills.
- Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, ensuring children receive prompt and appropriate care.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR (Childhood First Aid preferred) to ensure readiness for emergencies.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
