TMD Staffing is looking to hire an Instrument Tuber in Northwest side of Houston, 77041 area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-Person, Shop
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Plan layout and installation according to instructions using drawings, blueprints, sketches, and manuals
-
Measure thread, cuts, and assemble cable tray and support systems
-
Install tubing and clamps into cable tray systems
-
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install tubing and piping
-
Plan and coordinate daily work with limited supervision
-
Utilize hand, hydraulic and power tools
-
Drill and tap holies in structures and attach brackets, guards, according to drawings
-
Operate man lifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, bandsaws, hose cutting/crimping devices, pressure pumps, and hydraulic pumping units
-
Inspect and maintain tools
QUALIFICATIONS
-
2 + years Instrumentation experience in Swagelok stainless steel tubing in Oil & Gas
-
Experience with man lifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, band saws
-
Tubing from ¼ inch to 1 inch – Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) experience (high quality tubing)

Ready hydraulic schematics
-
Fit, cut, and band stainless steel tubing without errors
-
Must pass bend test
PAY
$28-34/hour, DOE
SCHEDULE
5am-5:30pm or 5pm-5am, must be flexible to work OT and weekends as needed
