Pay: $28.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
Minimum Hours: 40 hours per week
Overtime: Time-and-a-half pay for qualifying overtime hours

Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Semi Truck Driver to join our team at a scrap metal recycling yard.
The driver will be responsible for safely transporting scrap metal and materials, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring all loads are properly secured and transported safely.
Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A semi trucks.
- Transport scrap metal and materials between locations.
- Load and unload scrap trailers.
- Properly secure loads before transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
- Maintain required driving and delivery records.
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, coworkers, and management.
- Keep the truck and equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Assist with general yard and transportation duties as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL — REQUIRED.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish — REQUIRED.
- Previous semi-truck driving experience preferred.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Experience loading and unloading scrap metal trailers preferred.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must follow all safety rules and procedures.

Experience operating a roller/roll-off system is a HUGE PLUS!
Experience operating a roller/roll-off system to load, unload, and transport scrap metal containers is highly preferred.
Pay & Schedule
$28.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Minimum 40 hours per week.
Qualifying overtime is paid at time and a half.
No benefits are currently offered.
